Being a patient is complicated.
I can make it easier.
You need an advocate to . . .
help you understand your options,
make sure your voice is heard,
and guard against medical errors, one of the leading causes of preventable death in this country.
My name is Bruce Weinstein. I’m a patient advocate. I can help you . . .
understand your diagnosis,
get a second opinion,
communicate with healthcare providers,
and coordinate care between specialists.
I can make your patient journey better. When you’re not at your best, you need me to evaluate medical care for accuracy, negotiate bills with providers, and get errors recoded.
As your advocate, I will provide you and your family the support and information you need to make decisions and take your next steps with confidence.
I will have your back. I will clear your path through the U. S. health care system.

Getting A Diagnosis Is Overwhelming. Getting Support Isn’t.
If you or your loved one has been recently diagnosed, you know you’re overwhelmed with complex options even as you navigate chaotic emotions. I can help you understand your situation and connect you with the proper support.
A Second Opinion Is Your Right.
Second opinions save lives. But finding a specialist is time-consuming and requires medical coordination. I will assess your options for second opinions. I will research doctors for you, gather your medical records, and contact other medical institutions to clarify your choices. You don’t have to do this alone.
Let’s Make Complex Care Less Complicated.
I will coordinate your care among specialists and facilities, ensuring that you receive seamless treatment. As your liaison between healthcare providers, I will also ensure your concerns are addressed and your needs, met—no matter if you’re just starting your treatment or have had months of mind-rattling care.
You’re Best Chance May Be A Clinical Trial.
Clinical trials allow you to try a new treatment when standard treatments have failed. It can be a complex process to apply for and enroll in a clinical trial. I will help you understand the benefits and risks of participating in every clinical trial we can find.
I Understand Insurance Hassles.
You shouldn’t spend hours on the phone with your insurance company. I will do that for you, straightening out claim errors and making sure your care is covered. I will also coordinate claims between your doctor’s office and your insurance provider.
Know Your Options About End Of Life Decisions.
You don’t need to face them alone. I will explain end-of-life choices, including hospice, palliative care, and medical aid in dying (where available). I’ll make sure that your preferences are honored and your wishes are foremost. Together, we will discuss the benefits and limitations of possible interventions at the end of an illness.
Let’s take this journey together.
